How to Add and Remove Users

This guide explains how to add new users to your organisation's account and remove existing ones.

Only users with an Admin role can manage other users. When an account is created, the person who creates it becomes an Admin by default.

How to Add a User

  1. Click the 'More' button in the top-right corner of the app.
  2. Select 'Manage Users' from the dropdown menu.
  3. On the 'Other Users in your Organisation' page, click the 'Invite a user to your organisation' button in the top-right corner.
  4. You will see a screen explaining the process. Enter the email address of the user you would like to invite.
  5. Fundsorter will send an email invitation to that address. The user must then sign up to Fundsorter using that exact email address to be linked to your account.


What the New User Can Do

When you invite a new user, they will receive an email with an invitation to join. Once they have signed up and accepted, they will be added to your organisation. This means:

  • They will be able to view and make changes to your organisation's resources and data
  • Add, edit and delete funding requests
  • Find matches and draft applications

They will not be able to invite or remove users, or access the Account Billing area.


How to Add an Admin

The ability to add an admin to your organisation will be available through the same process in the coming months. In the meantime, please follow the above process to firstly add the person to your organisation account as a User, then email us via help@fundsorter.com with the request and we will apply the changes for you.


How to Remove a User

  1. Click the 'More' button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select 'Manage Users'. This page lists all current users by name, email, and role ('Admin' or 'User').
  3. To remove a regular 'User': Click the 'Remove User' button next to their name.
  4. To remove an 'Admin': If you wish to remove a user with 'Admin' status, please email your request to help@fundsorter.com.
