How to Add and Remove Users
This guide explains how to add new users to your organisation's account and remove existing ones.
Only users with an Admin role can manage other users. When an account is first created, the user who creates it becomes that organisation's Admin by default.
How to Add a User
- Click Manage Organisation in the navigation bar and select the Users tab.
- Click the 'Invite a User' button in the top-right corner.
- There are two different ways you can invite users:
- Click 'Invite via Link' to generate a unique invitation link. Copy this link and send it directly to the person you want to invite (e.g., via Slack, Teams, or email).
- Click 'Invite via Email' to enter the person's email address. The system will send the invitation directly to their inbox.

What the New User Can Do
When you invite a new user, they will receive an email with an invitation to join. Invitations are single-use and expire after 14 days. If inviting by email, the invited user must be logged in with the same email address to accept the invitation.
Once they have signed up and accepted, they will be added to your organisation. This means:
- They will be able to view and make changes to your organisation's resources and data
- Add, edit and delete funding requests
- Find matches and draft applications
They will not be able to invite or remove users, or access the Account Billing area.
How to Add an Admin
Firstly add the user by following the instructions above. Once the user is successfully part of your organisation's account, navigate to the Users page and click 'Update Role'. Confirm the selection to add them as an admin.
How to Remove a User
- Click the 'More' button in the top-right corner.
- Select 'Manage Users'. This page lists all current users by name, email, and role ('Admin' or 'User').
- To remove a regular 'User': Click the 'Remove User' button next to their name.
- To remove an 'Admin': If you wish to remove a user with 'Admin' status, please email your request to help@fundsorter.com.
